Jesus says that he came to search out those who were lost; to be a shepherd unto a flock.
The New Evangelization call us to spread the good news to people as well who have not heard the Good News. We are called to go to those who are lost.
I wonder who are the lost? In light of friday’s horrible events in Connecticut, how many families will feel lost? How many families, though experiencing the horror, will still be grounded in faith?
It would seem that the young man who killed these children and teachers was a lost soul. Sadly, he is a trend, a young man, Anglo who resorts to violence to express his darkness. How many such young men are out there, lost.
How can we as Church, I as a Catholic, find these people? I am wondering what message we need to be broadcasting out there so that they souls can find us?
